Beats and street art collided at Saatchi Gallery’s 2023 blockbuster street art exhibition “BEYOND THE STREETS”, where Euphonica was asked to curate a DJ line up at an unforgettable series of none late-night events, March – May 2023

This groundbreaking exhibition, sponsored by Adidas Originals, was curated by graffiti historian Roger Gastman, and showcased the evolution of graffiti and street art into highly disciplined studio practices. Music and dance was of course a huge part of that story, from breakdance to disco to hip hop. We relished the opportunity to call on some of London’s finest turntablists, to play their own interpretations of those eras and genres, all played on our very own Technics 1210s turntables and PA system.

Featuring the likes of DJ Frames, Jim Sharp, Pretty Hood, DJ Sat, and DJ Viv, the Friday night events were a vibrant dive into the culture of street art and music. It didn’t hurt that the exhibition itself was highly instagrammable too.
