Winter in London gets a serious upgrade this year as Skate Lates with Rock Angel takes over Somerset House, transforming the historic rink into a high-energy, open-air party hub. These exclusive nights, set throughout the season, promise a perfect blend of fresh tunes, atmospheric vibes, and rink-side fun. We’re thrilled to announce that our team has returned to program three of these special evenings, bringing a bit of nostalgia back to when we curated the entire lineup!
This season, Skate Lates with Rock Angel features an impressive lineup of cutting-edge artists and DJs, each bringing their unique sound to the frosty air. You’ll find selectors delivering everything from UK Garage to Amapiano, Soul to Grime, UK House to pop bangers—ensuring that each night feels fresh, unexpected, and unforgettable.
OUR LINEUP: VILLAGE CUTS, KIIMI, JINADU AND SASHA GIGI
This year, we’re thrilled to bring back some familiar faces to Somerset House, with a handpicked lineup that blends the best of classic and contemporary.
Village Cuts takes influence from all over the world in their legendary party sets. Jinadu, known for his soulful electronic soundscapes, will offer an auditory journey that’s sure to be a hit with both loyal fans and new listeners alike. Kiimi brings a touch of euphoria with her blend of house and techno, guaranteed to keep skaters and spectators moving alike. And finally, Sasha GiGi rounds out the lineup with her electric mix of pop and dance tracks—just what you need to kick-start your weekend.

Since 2018, Village Cuts have been igniting dancefloors at venues and festivals around Europe and East Africa with their fusion of UK club sounds in collaboration with African, Latin and Caribbean creatives, whilst holding down regular club nights and live events across London.
Wednesday 4th December
London-based producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Kiimi is an artist that has applied their conventional understanding of composition to a wholly unconventional output.
Thursday 2nd January
Jinadu has featured on well over 170 label releases with some of electronic music’s biggest names, culminating with a Grammy win for co-writing and performing on the lead track of Black Coffee’s Subconsciously album.
Friday 3rd January
A proud Londoner with Scottish roots from a family that’s been involved in music for generations, it’s no surprise that Sasha GiGi chose music as her way of life.

When the skating winds down, the party vibes keep going strong in the Skate Lounge by Whispering Angel. Every beat from the live DJ set flows straight into the lounge, where you can grab a drink, relax, and let the night’s energy soak in. It’s the perfect spot to wind down after your skate and immerse yourself in the music that fills every corner of Somerset House.
