EUPHONICA TO CURATE ENTERTAINMENT FOR BARBIE: THE EXHIBITION AT THE DESIGN MUSEUM

This exciting exhibition (5 July 2024 – 23 February 2025) explores Mattel’s doll through a design lens. Throughout her 65-year evolution, Barbie has tip-toed her way into the homes and hearts of millions, and along the way has become a cultural icon.

At Euphonica we carefully selected acts that celebrate Mattel’s doll through the ages, with her new home at the Design Museum as our back drop.

Clients who entertain at the exhibition will have an exceptional selection of acts to choose from, such as:

Amie’s feminine aesthetic teamed with her ethereal harp performances are sure to transport your guests into Barbie’s dream world.

Trick your guests into thinking you have giant Barbies in their boxes, then… all of a sudden…you Got Mobbed! As they climb out of their boxes and move amongst your guests, our dancers in disguise will have everyone surprised. They can perform whilst one of the listed party acts is playing, or perhaps an electric violinist such as Colette.

Your guests can be drawn as their favourite Barbie for a special gift to take home, created on-the-spot by our Live Fashion Illustrators.

With so many layers to Barbie’s story, it makes sense to us that this be reflected in the music – cue Sunship Orchestra! Comprised of a singer/DJ and four sparkling musicians, our unique DJ Live band can deliver a completely bespoke set that tunes in to Barbie from 1959 to the present day.

Plus much more!

We can’t wait to entertain at The Design Museum, and hope to see you there. If you are interested in an event at the Barbie exhibition please email hello@euphonica.com
