Mr Boogie

Born in the cosmopolitan capital of France and with parents of Ugandan descent, Mr Boogie was never going to be the type of person who just played any old record. With years of travel between NYC, Havana, West Africa and Buenos Aires, he has acquired a huge catalogue of classic Jazz, Funk, Soul, Boogie and Tropical rhythms for the decks.

With such an amiable personality and a bag full of nice tunes, he has found himself spinning at major venues and events, such as the London Jazz Festival, the London Latin American Film Festival, the UK film premiere for Soul Power, BBC Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend and more recently, the British Summer Time Hyde Park Festival.
